Jason currently serves as the senior leader of The Sanctuary, a Spirit-filled church in Pittsburgh. With a voice rooted in purpose and a heart refined through personal trials, he is redefining modern ministry—anchored in authenticity, healing, and the tangible presence of God.

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Jason’s early life revolved around music and performance. At just 16, a life-changing encounter with God shifted his path. He walked away from a promising career in musical theatre to pursue full-time ministry. After a transformative season at Hillsong Church in Sydney, Jason returned home, where he quickly became known for his powerful worship leadership and raw, transparent preaching.

In 2012, he launched a vibrant city campus for Amplify Church, sparking revival among college students and young professionals. The movement grew to four Sunday services across multiple buildings—but more importantly, countless lives were radically changed. By 2019, Jason was serving as the Senior Pastor of the Amplify Church Network.

Behind the platform, Jason was also building a family. In 2007, he married and eventually became the proud father of four children through adoption—creating a multicultural, neurodiverse home rooted in unconditional love and redemption. After his wife’s battle with addiction led to the painful end of their marriage, Jason was granted full custody of his children in 2022.  The following year, after a major ministry, he launched The Sanctuary—a bold new church centered on radical transparency, Holy Spirit encounters, and supernatural healing.

Today, Jason is not just rebuilding—he’s leading a movement. With plans to expand into Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., and a growing global reach through livestreams and podcasts, Pastor Jason Howard is emerging as a voice for the overlooked, a champion of healing, and a relentless pursuer of God’s presence.
